Mobilize to Save our Specialty: Tell Congress to Stop 2027 Fee Schedule Cuts

While payment cuts outlined in the 2027 Medicare physician fee schedule threaten the entire physician community, the proposed rule hits dermatology disproportionately hard due to two targeted proposals:

A 50% cut to same-day evaluation and procedure care (modifier 25).
Volatile shifts in practice expense calculations that would result in cuts to dermatological care.

Fighting these unjustified policies is AADA’s top priority and we are using every resource at our disposal. Our biggest asset is YOU, our members. We need every member to TAKE ACTION and send a message to your lawmakers asking them to work with CMS to stop these cuts. REFERENCE MATERIALS:
