FAD 2024 Meeting - Room Reservations at The Breakers

**IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ**

The FAD Annual Meeting will take place June 28-30th at The Breakers Resort in Palm Beach. The group rate is $350 per night and guests will be allowed ONE ROOM ONLY at this rate. Additional reservations can be made, on your own, at the current hotel rack rate. To prevent guests from taking advantage of our great rate, we have a very strict reservation process in place. Reservations will be granted to our FAD Fellow Member Physicians before they are made available to *other membership levels, non-members and residents with the exception of those who donate $1000, to the DermPAC, during the month of January. The DermPAC donors will receive priority booking before the FAD Fellow Member Physicians in the month of January ONLY! Beginning February 1, 2024, priority will be given in the order above: FAD Fellow Member Physicians, other membership levels, non-members and residents.

*Those who registered at the 2023 FAD meeting have already been granted a hotel room.

FAD MEMBERS: FAD 2024 Membership Dues must be paid before reserving a room!

HOTEL POLICIES: The discounted block rate is for the Deluxe "run of the house" rooms at The Breakers. Room rates are based upon single or double occupancy and are subject to the current Florida State Tax (7%) and Palm Beach County Local Tax (6%). All accompany guests must be registered by name to the room to use all the resort facilities (golf, spa, pools etc) and children get complimentary welcome amenities. The maximum occupancy for the Deluxe Rooms is 2 people per room. To confirm the reservation, The Breakers requires a 1-night deposit, for which there is a 7-day cancellation policy. How to request a reservation at The Breakers for the 2024 FAD Annual Meeting:
  1. Register and pay for the meeting here: https://fad.wildapricot.org/event-5267625. Your registration must be paid in full to receive priority placement into the room block.
  2. Once you have registered and paid, you will receive a confirmation email. Within the email, there will be a link to a registration request form for you to complete.
  3. Within a week of submitting your form, and if you qualify to receive a room, your request will be sent to The Breakers. When/if your reservation is entered into their system, you will get an email from the hotel with a link to submit your credit card, online, for payment.
  4. Click on the link to modify your registration and enter your credit card information there. If you prefer, you can call the reservations team at 888-BREAKERS (273-2537), between the hours of 9AM and 6PM daily, reference your confirmation number and let the hotel know you are calling to provide your credit card.
Please note that emailing, calling or submitting multiple forms will only delay the process and your request. We appreciate your patience as we try to make the reservation system fair and easy for all attendees. Overflow hotel options are also available for those who aren’t able to get a room at The Breakers.
