Mission Statement
The mission of the Florida Academy of Dermatology is to serve as an advocate for Florida dermatologists
and their patients to promote excellence in dermatologic care, ensure the highest standards for dermatologic practice and
medical education, and to enhance the quality and availability of dermatologic health care to all Floridians.
History
The Florida Academy of Dermatology celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2005. To commemorate this special
event, FAD published "A Journey Through The Decades: A History of Florida Academy of Dermatology".
